Other characteristics of good bantam chicken coops are: having high perches since bantam chickens jump and fly higher than other breeds; nets or coverings overhead are also required if there's a chicken run in your coop to prevent your bantams from escaping; materials used to build the hen houses are strong enough to withstand any types of weather, predator attacks, and the like.
